Duke Homes, Inc. was established by Mike Duke in 1986. Prior to that time, Mike attended Indiana University where he received his B.S. in Business, majoring in finance and real estate. Since 1986, Duke Homes, Inc. has grown to become one of the top residential building companies in the Central Indiana area. Mike attributes much of his company's growth and success to the team effort of his staff and subcontractors. Mike feels that being surrounded with dedicated people who share his philosophy of honesty and hard work has been responsible for the success of Duke Homes, Inc.
Duke Homes, Inc. builds luxury custom homes in Indianapolis and surrounding areas and also specializes in exclusive country estate developments. Recognized for establishing in-depth client/builder relationships, unique architectural details and superior craftsmanship, owner/builder/developer Mike Duke accomplishes all this through open communications, a knowledgeable friendly staff and dedicated sub-contractors. Mark Belton joined Duke Homes, Inc. in 2006 as a construction manager for all residential properties. Mark has worked in the construction industry for 22 years and in residential construction for seven years. Mark is a graduate of Suburban Baptist School.
Mark Belton and his wife, Wendy, reside in Greenwood, Indiana and have been members of Emmanuel Church of Greenwood for 25 years. Besides spending time with his family, his interests include golf, tennis and weight training. |

 Tanya Smythe VP Sales |
Tanya Smythe graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Psychology. She has been in sales and marketing during her entire career for home builders. Tanya obtained the designation of Certified New Home Sales Professional by the National Sales and Marketing Council in 1995 and became a licensed realtor in 2003. Tanya specializes in sales for new construction and has been involved in several projects in Johnson County from the ground up. She is excited about the Sycamore Ridge Community where Duke Homes will offer luxury garden homes in a convenient location and wonderful setting.
Tanya has been married for 21 years to Mark and is very involved with her three children, Levi, 19, Austin, 15 and Tanya Leigh who is 8. Her family resides in Franklin. |

 Mike Plummer Account Manager |
Mike joined Duke Homes, Inc. as an accounts payable associate. Mike is a resident of Franklin, IN and is responsible for all accounts payable and job costs entry along with vendor correspondence. He has taken coursework in business at IUPUI and has 12 years experience working with mortgages, home equity loans and accounts payable.
Mike's interests include spending time with his kids, watching his son play soccer, watching movies and music. Mike and his wife, Teresa, have two children Mason and Reilly. They have been attending Franklin Memorial Christian Church for 17 years. |
 Sherie Wright Selection Coordinator |
Sherie has been with Duke Homes, Inc. since 1993. She is a licensed Realtor and prior to joining Duke Homes, Inc. she worked as a Selection Coordinator for another custom builder in the Center Grove area. She has over 15 years experience decorating models and helping clients with their selection process.
Sherie is the mother of two children and has four “beautiful” grandchildren. She loves reading mystery novels and traveling at every opportunity. In the past she enjoyed volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House and has been a member of Community Church of Greenwood for the past two years. |
 Marcia Duke Marketing |
Marcia graduated from the IU School of Business, majoring in Marketing and Corporate Fitness. In conjunction with providing Duke Homes Marketing, Marcia worked for 8 years as a design consultant to Lilly Endowment and taught a Computer Design Class at IUPUI.
For the past 20 years, Marcia has provided the advertising and website design for Duke Homes ... also creating logos, tag lines and slogans for Duke Homes & Welbourne Companies. Marcia is the proud wife of Mike and four healthy children: Jake, Zach, Isaac and Hannah. She is a member of Emmanuel Church of Greenwood. Her interests include weight training, watching her kid's activities and horseback riding. |
